The cross stitch piece is finished! Yey! I was going to make it into a cushion but I think it will look better being framed. Now to find a frame... Once it is framed, I'll take a photo and post it on the blog.
I have so many ideas, patterns and sketches of things that I want to make, I don't know where to start. Since the previous projects have been cross stitch, maybe I should have a go at another craft. I'm thinking crochet or knitting, maybe? I admit that I'm not exactly the best at knitting but I have too many ideas that would look amazing. Crocheting is more my thing. I have been learning new stitches and have some great ideas for crochet projects too.
It is so exciting that things are finally coming together.
Well, the projects aren't going to start themselves, so I'd best be off! x

Sneak Peek!
Hurray! I have worked out a way to post photos! It's not exactly the easiest way, but it works! And here it is...the first photo...
Can you guess what it is I'm stitching? I reckon there are about 200 stitches left to do. This photo was taken yesterday and I have done some more stitching today. Apologies for the blurriness. I'm still getting to grips with the camera.
Would you prefer if I took a photo of the finished stitched piece or a photo of when it is completely finished (made into something)?

Happy New Year!
2013 is here and I am going to make the most of it. This is the year for Mars Crafters! I got a camera for Christmas, so I can finally start showing you my makes.
Sadly, I haven't had much time to create things for Mars Crafters during the last few months, what with birthdays and Christmas etc. I make the majority of the gifts I give to people and Christmas is always hectic. Now that I do have the time, I am cracking on with it. I have lots more ideas and am looking forward to using different mediums and techniques.
I have tried posting a photo and it isn't working. I'm going to try and figure out how to do it and hopefully, show you a sneak peek in the next post.
